K2 Snowboarding Boots

In late 2010 I spent three weeks in sunny Seattle, Washington working with Joel Brinson of Noct Bureau on colorways, blocking, trim, and logo treatments for K2 Snowboarding Boots. We were working years ahead on product planned for the 2012-2013 snowboarding season.

For any real artists or designers, you should absolutely take every opportunity to get a crash course in a similar but completely different creative industry if at all possible. I learned a lot about engineering, shoes, and the difficulties of creating boots and outerwear halfway across the world. It gave me an entirely different outlook on fashion, design, manufacturing, and shipping.
